Behind the name
Zendissittee was born from a lifelong obsession with pattern and colour—an enduring passion that has shaped my life. Bold, vibrant hues and beautiful, striking designs make me feel alive, and I want to share that feeling with others.
I am passionate about upcycling and giving preloved products a new life in every aspect of living. Rooted in a personal ethos of homesteading, these values continue to inspire and shape everything behind the Zendissittee brand.
Woven from family and flowers
I crafted the name Zendissittee as a linguistic mashup of my children's names, so they are woven into the very heart of this brand. My logo carries their presence, featuring each of their birth flowers. Every stitch and creation stems from a very loving and joyful environment here at home in Kent.
A lifelong obsession with colour & textiles
For as long as I can remember, I have been drawn to vivid colour and striking pattern. This passion led me to study a Foundation in Art Diploma followed by a degree in Printmaking with Illustration at university
My love of textiles began in childhood, spending countless hours around my seamstress mother. It has since grown into a natural affinity for fabric creations — one I hope to share with and pass on to my own children.
My partner and I home educate our six children together, and our homesteading ethos makes it important to weave sustainable living into our daily practice. This is reflected throughout our home as we sew our own clothing, grow produce, upcycle woodwork projects, and raise animals.
Slow living and hands-on artistry
In a world driven by fast-paced consumerism, our family chooses a slower, more grounded rhythm - the kind I see deeply woven into my grandparents' era. To step back in time, if only a little, and rediscover the magic that can so easily be lost. I embrace a more old-world way of living, rooted in intention, simplicity, and care.
Every bag and accessory I create is self-taught and lovingly handcrafted by me. I hope that each purchase brings you a small piece of the joy I feel in making it.
